Uptime Kuma

18/01/2023

Recently, I embarked on an IT adventure that has turned my Raspberry Pi into a veritable “command central” for all my deployed services and applications. I deployed Uptime Kuma, an open-source, lightweight, and easy-to-use service and application monitoring tool.

With Uptime Kuma, I can keep tabs on all my deployed services and applications like a boss, monitoring everything in real-time and getting instant notifications if something goes awry. I even set up custom checks and alerts to act as my personal “deployment squad” and keep me in the loop at all times.

But the real icing on the cake? I deployed Uptime Kuma in a Docker container using docker-compose, making it easy to manage and scale as my needs change. Now, my “command central” runs like a well-oiled machine, always up-to-date and ready for action.

Gone are the days of staring blankly at my deployed services and applications, wondering if they’re still running. Now, with Uptime Kuma, I can keep an eye on everything, troubleshoot issues before they become major problems, and have peace of mind knowing that my deployed services and applications are always running smoothly. This project was a blast to work on and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to turn their Raspberry Pi into a “command central” of their own.
